How to get to the Natural Reserve of Salse di Nirano

By car:
MOTORWAY A1: EXIT MODENA SUD
Follow the signs towards Modena; at the first big roundabout with road Nuova Estense turn left towards Maranello-Abetone; in Pozza di Maranello turn right towards Maranello, and keep straight in the direction of Fiorano.
Between Maranello and Fiorano lies Spezzano; here, turn left into road Nirano, which follows Fossa torrent. In Torre delle Oche, turn right into road Salse, which leads to the Reserve. In Spezzano, as well as in Torre delle Oche, corresponding signs indicate the position of the Reserve.
MOTORWAY A1: EXIT MODENA NORD
Follow the signs towards Sassuolo. At the very end of the fast road, turn left towards Fiorano; turn right at the second roundabout, then left again at the end of the road, following the signs towards Spezzano-Maranello. Finally turn right into road Nirano, which leads to Torre delle Oche, at the entrance of the Reserve.
By train and by bus:
Get off at Modena train station.
